Who: Couples currently trying to conceive
What: This special Yoga for Fertility workshop is designed for couples who are facing fertility challenges together, whether using natural approaches or assisted reproductive techniques. With a focus on simple poses, breathing practices and relaxation, we will learn and practice yoga techniques to reduce stress, release physical tension, and calm the mind.
Allowing our energy to flow more freely throughout the body improves blood flow, helps with hormone regulation and supports the reproductive organs. Yoga and breathing practices help us develop calmness and mental clarity to face those potentially stressful events or difficult decisions. Partner yoga offers a positive way for partners to support each other on the path to parenthood and beyond. We will also learn techniques that help us get more “in tune” with our partner’s energy.
Yoga poses are simple and gentle, and effective for both women and men. No previous yoga experience is required. All levels of yoga practitioners are welcome.
