Please join me for EnerQi Yoga! I love offering this class, which integrates Energy Medicine Yoga and Qigong. We will be weaving together techniques from both practices, deepening the work we can do with any single practice. Qigong and Energy Medicine Yoga both work with the Chinese meridian system, as well as other energy systems in the body. We will learn specific practices to clear blocked energy, improve sleep, boost energy levels, and promote healing. This practice is very effective for issues like insomnia, low energy and fatigue, emotional stress, anxiety, poor immunity, hormonal imbalances, and many others.
I have personally found this combination of approaches to be extremely effective. Benefits include stronger immunity, increased energy levels, improved ability to focus, better sleep and enhanced feelings of well-being. You will notice improved physical, mental and emotional health with regular practice of some simple techniques! This class is open to women and men, and any level of yoga experience, including beginners, are welcome. The practice is simple but powerful!
The Qigong methods we use are based in ZY Qigong and Yi Jin Jing, which I have been studying for the past 6 years, with my teachers Claire and Jerigtu from Inner Mongolia, as well as local teachers here in Seattle. The Energy Medicine is based on Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine. I have studied with Donna, and am in the Master Teacher’s Program with Lauren Walker, author of Energy Medicine Yoga, and The Energy Medicine Yoga Prescription. I have been a registered yoga teacher for over 20 years, and am a Certified Yoga Therapist. I also hold a Level 2 teaching certification in Energy Medicine Yoga.
