In a Harvard-based study, women participating in a yoga and mindfulness program had a pregnancy success rate almost 3 times greater than women who were not in the program. The study reflects the successes I’ve seen over the past 20 years of teaching Yoga for Fertility. Thousands of “graduates” from my Yoga for Fertility programs are now busy parenting.

In my Yoga for Fertility classes, you will learn practices that help balance your hormonal system, boost energy and blood flow, reduce stress, calm the mind and nourish your reproductive organs.
I offer specific yoga postures and modifications to support each cycle phase, whether you are trying to conceive naturally, or using assisted reproductive technology. My classes also incorporate yoga philosophy concepts, as well as energy medicine techniques, that offer a way to work with the emotional and mental stress of fertility challenges. Yoga for Fertility addresses mind, body and spirit, optimizing your ability to conceive and enjoy a healthy pregnancy.

Yoga for Fertility Classes: What to Expect
Class enrollment is limited, so classes are small, interactive and very supportive. All yoga experience levels are welcome. We start each class with a check-in. I can help you modify the practice based on where you are in your cycle, or if you are doing assisted reproductive treatments such as IUI, IVF or FET cycles. The check-ins also help to build community in the classes.
In class, you will learn how to support your fertility through yoga practice, and how to adapt poses during different parts of your cycle. Home practice is encouraged, with access to recorded classes and use of my book, Yoga and Fertility, A Journey to Health and Healing.
Group classes may be offered in-studio as well as online. Private Instruction, Fertility Coaching and Teacher Training are also available.

Why I Developed Yoga for Fertility
I began developing my Yoga for Fertility program after several years of dealing with my own fertility challenges, and eventually doing assisted reproductive treatments. Although I had already been teaching and practicing yoga for many years at the time, in hindsight the practice I was doing was too strenuous, and not especially fertility supporting.
The curriculum for my Yoga for Fertility classes is based on my personal experience, as well as extensive research on yoga and its effects on hormones and the reproductive system. Offering this program over the past 20 years has fulfilled my dream of sharing the benefits of my experience and my research with others who are facing fertility challenges.
