Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training
Yoga for Fertility: Rewarding and In Demand
Join my internationally acclaimed Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training program and add a valuable skill to your yoga teaching toolkit. Teaching yoga to those who are trying to conceive is highly rewarding and is very much in demand!
Research shows that about 1 in 7 couples in the U.S. today face fertility challenges, and many are looking to yoga for help. Many fertility clinics, physicians, therapists and complementary health practitioners recommend Yoga for Fertility for their patients or clients.
Learn how to teach yoga to this population based on my proven Yoga for Fertility program. Thousands of women and couples have “graduated” from Yoga for Fertility and are now busy parenting! You will learn to safely and confidently lead classes and workshops or offer private instruction to anyone who is trying to conceive, whether they are trying naturally or using assisted reproductive technology.
Training with Lynn Jensen
As a pioneer in fertility yoga, I bring 20+ years of experience teaching Yoga for Fertility classes, workshops, teacher trainings and retreats. My book, Yoga and Fertility, A Journey to Health and Healing, was the first book to specifically address this topic.
I have been offering my Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training program in the U.S. and internationally since 2014. Graduates of this program are currently teaching Yoga for Fertility across the U.S. and in Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits are available.
My certifications include: E-RYT 500, RPYT, YACEP through Yoga Alliance; C-IAYT through the International Association of Yoga Therapists; Master Teacher of Energy Medicine Yoga via Lauren Walker.
Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training – What to Expect
Trainings are currently offered Live Online and In-Studio. The program is unique and interactive with opportunities for group work, discussion and practicum. All sections of the program are taught by me personally. Trainings include opportunities to observe my current Yoga for Fertility classes.
The training offers two tracks: Certification Track and Audit Track. For Certification Track, the pre-requisite is a minimum 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification through Yoga Alliance, OR provide documented teaching experience or equivalent certification. You will receive Certification to teach Yoga for Fertility on successful completion of the program. Certification Track Participants can earn CE’s toward Yoga Alliance continuing education requirements (see FAQ section).
The Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training is not designed to teach you how to teach yoga – it is adding another layer to what you already know as a yoga teacher. Working with this population requires a much higher level of expertise than teaching general yoga classes. You may be teaching students who are under severe emotional stress, or who are undergoing complicated medical treatment programs. For this reason, I require you to submit your yoga teaching credentials if you are registering for the Certification Track.
Audit Track can be followed if you are not a certified yoga teacher, but have other fertility-related background or interest. The program materials are the same, but the goal is different. Audit track participation is for your own personal interest. You will not be tested on what you have learned, and you will not be certified to teach Yoga for Fertility on completion of the program.
