A Yoga Routine Tailored for You

Private yoga instruction is a good choice if you would like a personal yoga routine to address your specific circumstances. After an initial consultation, I will lead you through a personalized yoga practice and provide you with a routine to practice at home. Follow-on sessions are available as needed. Meetings are in-person or online via Zoom.

Private sessions are available to support many different situations, including fertility treatment cycles. Read more about the specialized sessions below and feel free to contact me if you have questions prior to registering.

Yoga for Fertility

Prenatal Yoga

Private prenatal yoga sessions are available for anyone who has “graduated” from my Yoga for Fertility classes. Generally, we will meet every 6 weeks or so, to modify poses and practices as your pregnancy progresses. Prenatal yoga is so beneficial for you and for the baby!

Yoga for Healthy Hormones

EnerQi Yoga

These sessions are not fertility-specific and are appropriate for anyone interested in boosting their energy, immunity and general health.  We can also address specific physical, emotional or mental health challenges with these powerful healing techniques.  EnerQi Yoga integrates the wisdom of yoga, energy medicine and qigong into a simple and gentle practice accessible to everyone.

Private Instruction – What to Expect

The goal of private Yoga for Fertility sessions is to provide you with yoga routines that are tailored to your fertility situation and your goals. Working one-on-one, I am able to assess what yoga poses and practices will best support you in reaching your goals. Couples’ sessions are also available.

Get Started with a 90-minute Consultation

In the initial consultation, we will discuss your fertility history, current situation, yoga experience and any other factors such as injuries or physical limitations. Based on the assessment, you will receive a tailored yoga routine that we will practice together, and that you can also practice at home. We will also schedule any follow-up yoga sessions at this time. A written copy of your yoga routine is included in the session price. A video recording of your yoga routine is available for a small additional fee.

In-Person or Online

Most private sessions are held via Zoom. In-person sessions may also be an option, at my yoga space which is in northeast Seattle. If you would prefer that the session be held at your home or other location in the Seattle area, I may be able to accommodate this for an additional fee.

My main hours of availability are weekdays during the day, but I also have some weekend and evening times available. Book early if you require a weekend or evening time slot.

Aligned with Your Cycles

I recommend that we meet at least once during the pre-ovulation phase of your cycle, and once during the post-ovulation phase, so that we can adapt the yoga practice to where you are in your cycle. Many poses can be done during any part of the cycle, but some poses are stimulative and are more useful during the pre-ovulation phase. Other, more supportive poses may be more appropriate for post-ovulation, when we hope to be supporting implantation!

Assisted Cycles

If you are doing some type of assisted cycle, such as an IUI or IVF cycle, you can still do yoga during the cycle. However, it is important to monitor the cycle so that we can modify poses as needed. Individual yoga sessions are highly recommended during assisted cycles, in order for you continue receiving the benefits of yoga in a safe and supportive manner.

Fertility Coaching Option

I also offer Fertility Coaching, which you can combine with private instruction for an even more powerful approach to supporting your fertility. With Fertility Coaching, I can help guide you on the shortest path to success, avoiding the pitfalls, obstacles and false trails. I will also be at your side when things get challenging or decisions need to be made, to help you sort out the best way forward to reach your goals.
