Why EnerQi Yoga?

Recent scientific research in quantum physics has proven that at the foundational level, everything is made of energy! Given this, it makes sense that our bodies would also respond powerfully and heal quickly when we work with our energy systems.
I love offering this class, which integrates yoga with Energy Medicine and Qigong to create a more powerful yoga practice. Energy Medicine is based on the work of Donna Eden, and addresses nine key energy systems in the body. Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice for maintaining health and promoting healing by working with energy. These practices work in different but complementary ways, resulting in a holistic and powerful practice that elevates our overall energetic frequency and promotes physical, mental and energetic health.
Simple Practices with Powerful Results
In this class, you will learn specific practices to target each energy system, to clear blocked energy, boost immunity, reduce stress and fatigue, improve sleep, increase energy levels, and promote general health and healing. You will notice improved physical, mental and emotional health with regular practice of some very simple but powerful techniques. Each session, we will work with a specific theme or learn about a particular energy system. In some sessions, we may work with the Chinese 5-Element system, which is aligned with the seasons and the meridians. In others, we may learn practices to address energy systems including the chakras, radiant circuits, aura, triple warmer, and Celtic weave.
EnerQi Yoga Benefits Everyone
This class is open to everyone, and all levels of yoga experience are welcome. The yoga is gentle, and the Qigong and Energy Medicine practices are accessible to anyone and beneficial to everyone.
I have used these techniques with students with a wide variety of health concerns, including cancer treatment and recovery, MS, anxiety, depression, insomnia, physical injuries and more. It is also beneficial for anyone wanting to improve their energy level, or just maintain good physical and mental health! If you have questions on whether this class is for you, please contact me.

Inspiration and Influences
I have been teaching Yoga combined with Energy Medicine and the ancient Chinese practices of Qigong since 2015. The foundation of EnerQi Yoga is based on my 20+ years of teaching yoga. After personally experiencing the benefits of Qigong and Energy Medicine, I was inspired me to integrate all of these amazing practices into EnerQi Yoga. My training includes:
- Qigong since 2014 with Claire and Jerigtu, Qigong Masters from Inner Mongolia, China
- In-depth study with Donna Eden, healer, author and founder of Energy Medicine, since 2007
- Certified Master Teacher of Energy Medicine Yoga with Lauren Walker, author and creator of Energy Medicine Yoga
