Level 2: Sept 2026 – Final dates TBD (9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
Location: Blosm Studio
Yi Jin Jing is a gentle but powerful Qigong form which helps us prepare our physical body for meditative practice, as well as maintaining the health of our muscles, tendons and organ systems. It was originally developed by Bodhi Dharma in the Mountains above Shaolin Monastery in China to improve spinal alignment so that our energy can flow upward with greater ease. Yi Jin Jing coordinates movement and breath with the heart and mind to awaken and unify all into one. Jerigtu is the current lineage holder of the Yi Jin Jing form of Qigong.
Who: Anyone is welcome to attend, whether or not you have studied Qigong or Yi Jin Jing with Jerigtu in the past. The practice is fairly gentle, but it will be helpful if you are able to stand comfortably for up to 15-20 minutes. We will also be sitting for some of the practice.
About the Teacher: Jerigtu comes from a long line of Shamanic healers, and his family are holders of the Golden lineage in Inner Mongolia. Jerigtu’s great uncle was a Tibetan Rinpoche or “living Buddha,” to whom people from afar came for guidance and healing. Jerigtu grew up shadowing healers and practicing the healing traditions, and began studying Yi Jin Jing with Shaolin masters from an early age. Jerigtu teaches worldwide, and lives in Inner Mongolia.
Translation: Jerigtu’s English is improving; however we are fortunate to have the assistance of Siwei Guo, a Qigong student and native Chinese speaker, to assist with translation as needed.
Bring: Please bring a blanket or yoga mat if you have one, for the standing practice. The studio has more blankets, pads, yoga mats, bolsters and backjack chairs for sitting. If you need a chair to sit comfortably, you may want to bring a folding chair, as there are only 2 available in the studio. Wear warm socks, and bring warm layers.
Pre-registration required. You can register for both Levels, or either Level individually. Early registration is advised, as space is limited. Register at: https://yogaforfertility.net/events/workshop-with-jerigtu/
