
EnerQi Yoga Weekly Class – Mondays: Live Online
7:00-8:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) March 10 – April 28 (8 weeks)

EnerQi Yoga integrates Yoga with Energy Medicine and Qigong to create an even more powerful practice. You will learn to work with important energy systems such as the chakras, meridians, 5-Element system, the aura and others. In EnerQi Yoga we can target specific energy channels to release blockages and improve energy flow. The result is more energy, better sleep, stronger immunity, reduced stress, and improved physical and emotional well-being.

In the March-April session we will work with Wood Element, which is dominant during Spring. When Wood Element is out-of-balance, it shows up as irritability, anger, frustration and physically as tight muscles. Balancing Wood element helps transform anger to assertiveness in service of right action. Wood Element is associated with Liver and Gallbladder meridians. Liver Qi stagnation is quite common in our culture, and can show up in symptoms such as irritability, migraines, insomnia and hormonal imbalances.
Around the Spring Equinox we will also honor Earth Element, which is dominant during the transitions between seasons. Spleen and Stomach meridians are associated with Earth. Balancing Earth Element helps us shift negative thinking, and gets us out of “worry mode”.

Equipment: Please have a yoga mat, blanket, yoga block, & strap available.
Note: Class fees are refundable if withdrawal is due to medical reasons, or after the initial class session only. Refunds will be less a $25 registration fee, and will be pro-rated.
