Please join me in Yoga for Healthy Energy! I love offering this class, which integrates Energy Medicine, Yoga and Qigong. It weaves together techniques from all these practices, resulting in a much more powerful yoga practice. Qigong works with the Chinese meridian system, and Energy Medicine works with 9 other key energy systems in the body. We will learn specific practices to target each energy system, to clear blocked energy, improve sleep, boost energy and immunity, reduce stress, and promote general health and healing.
You will notice improved physical, mental and emotional health with regular practice of some very simple techniques. This class is open to everyone, and any level of yoga experience, including beginners, are welcome. The practices are simple but very powerful. Come join me and experience the benefits yourself!
All classes are recorded, so students can practice at home, and also can access the recorded classes if unable to attend at the scheduled time.
For Fall session, we will start with a review of the Chinese 5-Element energy system, talking about, what it is and how to use it to improve physical, mental and emotional health. Around the Equinox, we will work specifically on balancing Earth Element, which, when unbalanced, manifests as worry. Starting in October, we will shift to a focus on Metal Element, which is associated with Fall season.
Grief, a tendency to resist change, and the need to control things are what we can start to shift when working with Metal Element. Physically, metal imbalances impact our skin, hair, lungs and large intestine. The testimonial below attests to the power of these practices!

About the instructor, Lynn Jensen, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, MBA: I have been teaching yoga since 1997, and Yoga combined with Energy Medicine since 2015. I began studying Qigong in 2014 with my teachers Claire and Jerigtu, Qigong Masters from Inner Mongolia. I am a certified Master Teacher of Energy Medicine Yoga, from Lauren Walker, author of Energy Medicine Yoga, and The Energy Medicine Yoga Prescription, and have also studied with Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine and Energy Medicine for Women. I am registered yoga teacher at the EYT-500 level through the Yoga Alliance, and a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Integrating and sharing all of these amazing practices is one of my main passions as a yoga teacher!
