Workshop #1: Energy Medicine Yoga for Immune System and Respiratory Support
Energy Medicine Yoga offers very powerful practices for boosting the immune system as well as clearing and strengthening the respiratory system. In this time of COVID, we want to do all we can to support our body’s ability to kick out invaders, and keep our own energy strong. Join Lynn Jensen, Energy Medicine Yoga Master Teacher, to learn simple but powerful techniques for boosting the immune and respiratory systems. Then use these techniques to maintain and even improve your health and immunity, during these challenging times.
Workshop #2: Energy Medicine Yoga to Reduce COVID-related Stress
Check in with your own response to the virus right now…what is your main emotion?
- Fear of the virus?
- Anger or frustration about your circumstances?
- General anxiety?
- Worry about what will or won’t happen in the future?
- Grief about loss of “normal life”, or loss of loved ones, or loss of our ability to connect in person with friends and family?
According to the Heart-Math Institute, one negative thought reduces the effectiveness of our immune system for up to 6 hours. Shifting to a more positive attitude can instead boost and support our immune system for up to 6 hours! Energy Medicine Yoga can help us learn to shift these difficult emotions, and reduce the impact of stress on our bodies. Join Lynn Jensen, Energy Medicine Yoga Master Teacher, for this powerful practice. We will be practicing Energy Medicine Yoga and working with the 5-Element system, learning techniques to help get us through this difficult time in the best and healthiest way possible!
