Yoga for Fertility Classes

Classes are offered in 3 formats:  In-Studio, Live Online or On-Demand 

In a Harvard-based study, women participating in a yoga and mind-body program conceived at a rate almost 3 times greater than women who were not in the program!

Success comes from taking charge of the things you CAN control on your fertility path, including your physical, emotional and mental health.  When you join my Yoga for Fertility classes, you will learn yoga practices to support yourself and your fertility in all of these ways.  And you immediately become part of a very supportive community, with opportunities to connect with others who are dealing with similar challenges.  Find the support you need to realize your dream of being a parent!

My Yoga for Fertility classes are designed to help to balance the body’s hormonal system, increase energy flow, reduce stress, and nourish the reproductive organs.  I offer modifications and specific yoga postures to support each cycle phase, whether you are TTC naturally, or using assisted reproductive technology.  I also incorporate yoga philosophy concepts that offer a way to work with the emotional and mental stress of fertility challenges. Yoga for Fertility addresses mind, body and spirit, optimizing your ability to conceive and enjoy a healthy pregnancy.

Class enrollment is limited to 15 students, so the class environment is small, personal and very supportive.  All experience levels are welcome. I also offer modifications for anyone doing assisted reproductive treatments such as IUI, IVF or FET cycles.  If you are already practicing yoga, it is highly recommended that you attend a session of Yoga for Fertility to learn how to use yoga to support your fertility, and how to adapt poses during various parts of your cycle.  Scroll down to see Testimonials from past Yoga for Fertility students about the classes!

I developed the curriculum for the Yoga for Fertility classes, starting in 2002, based on my extensive research on yoga and its effects on hormones and the reproductive system.  In class, we also use my book Yoga and Fertility, A Journey to Health and Healing In my teaching, I draw on my 20 years of yoga teaching experience, and my own personal challenges with fertility.  I am also a Certified Yoga Therapist, and a Master Teacher of Energy Medicine Yoga, so am often sprinkling powerful energy medicine techniques into my classes.


Tuesday Yoga for Fertility Hybrid Class:  In-Studio and Live Online

Tuesdays, 5:30-7:00 pm PST    April 30 – June 18   (8 weeks)  

This class is open to women who are currently trying to conceive, either naturally or using assisted reproductive technology.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome.  If you are currently taking other yoga classes, Yoga for Fertility class will teach you how to modify your practice to better support your fertility, including for each phase of your cycle. My Yoga for Fertility classes include specific energy medicine techniques to support fertility.  The in-studio class meets in N.E. Seattle.

Thursday Yoga for Fertility Live Online Class

Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm PST    May 2 – June 20    (8 weeks) 

This class is open to women who are currently trying to conceive, either naturally or using assisted reproductive technology.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome.  If you are currently taking other yoga classes, Yoga for Fertility class will teach you how to modify your practice to better support your fertility, including for each phase of your cycle. My Yoga for Fertility classes include specific energy medicine techniques to support fertility.
You will also receive a recording of each week’s practice, to use for home practice in between classes, or in case you miss a weekly Live class.

On-Demand Yoga for Fertility Classes 

Receive 8 weeks of recorded Yoga for Fertility classes
The On-Demand class option is for anyone who is unable to attend the regularly scheduled Live Online classes, or who prefers to do a Yoga for Fertility practice on their own schedule,
If you register for this option, you will receive a recorded class each week, each with a different theme and unique Yoga for Fertility routine.  The recordings will be the complete class (except for the initial check-in with the Live class), so the recordings will be for a yoga practice of around 45-50 minutes, plus the instructor’s comments.  Modifications will be offered for each phase of the monthly cycle.

Sunday Yoga for Fertility  Live Online Class       

Sundays,  5:00-6:30 pm PST   –  March-April session will not meet on Sundays

This class is open to women who are currently trying to conceive, either naturally or using assisted reproductive technology.  Modifications are offered for those doing assisted cycles. All levels of yoga experience are welcome. If you are currently taking other yoga classes, Yoga for Fertility class will teach you how to modify your practice to better support fertility, including for each phase of your cycle. My Yoga for Fertility classes also include specific energy medicine techniques to support fertility.
You will also receive a recording of each week’s practice, to use for home practice in between classes, or in case you miss a weekly Live class.
